Board of Directors Meetings
The Board of Directors for the Pennsylvania Society of Anesthesiologists (PSA) meets at least three times every year. Every member is encouraged to attend any meeting.
- The Board of Directors Spring Meeting typically takes place on the Sunday before the American Society of Anesthesiologists’ Annual Legislative Conference in Washington, D.C.
- During odd-numbered years, PSA’s second Board of Directors meeting takes place in conjunction with the PSA Legislative Reception. In even-numbered years, the second Board of Directors meeting occurs in a different venue throughout the state.
- The third Board of Directors meeting, held in conjunction with the PSA Annual Membership Meeting. The annual membership meeting for the PSA takes place prior to the American Society of Anesthesiologists Annual Meeting.
Check the American Society of Anesthesiologists website for this year’s host city. This meeting is an opportunity for all Pennsylvania anesthesia physicians and residents to learn about recent PSA activities and inquiry about membership. This venue has generated much interest from physicians whose busy work schedules do not typically permit them to attend other Board of Directors meetings.
Our organization also holds annual regional meetings in the Harrisburg/Hershey, Pittsburgh, Philadelphia, and Erie areas. These meetings allow the Board of Directors to stay in closer contact with many busy colleagues.
